Weight Control Diet |

I am following a weight control diet because I my weight fluctuate constantly. Sometimes I gain as much as fifteen pounds in a month and then I loose five pounds on the following month. Doctors agree this situation must be solved or else it could affect my overall health. My nutritionist created a weight control program designed specifically according to my age, height, and fitness routine.

In this program I eat foods such as whole grains, nuts, proteins and vegetables. For breakfast I have a fruit smoothie fortified with soy protein powder that keeps me satisfied during the morning. For lunch I have a twenty gram portion of fish or chicken with a side order of vegetables and wild rice. I snack on yogurt or on nuts during the afternoon and for dinner I have a similar plate as I did for lunch, consisting of a combination of protein, vegetables and carbohydrates.

I am very happy with the results of this weight control regime because it has maintained by weight at one hundred and thirty pounds. According to doctors this is a healthy weight for my age and my height. I am very proud of myself for correctly following the instructions of my weight control diet. It hasnt been easy because everyday I am tempted to eat fried foods and sugars which arent allowed on the diet. If it werent for this regime I would still be gaining and loosing weight erratically.


Professional Fitness Trainer |

I have worked as a fitness trainer for ten years. I’ve had clients who are very respectful and nice and clients who are rude and unpleasant. I have learnt to deal with all kinds of personalities, even with jealous husbands and wives. I love adventure and exercise, and my two favorite sports are surfing and skating. I am also a great fan of the outdoors; whenever I am not working I am always outside performing one of these sports.

I studied physical therapy and physical education at the state university and when I graduated I started working as a fitness trainer. At first I didn’t have many regular clients and I earn just enough money to pay the rent. My telephone, electricity, cable and water services were constantly suspended because I could not afford to pay them. I occasionally entered surfing contests which offered cash prices; however I didn’t win any of them.

As the years passed I slowly gained a positive reputation of being innovative, qualified, and efficient fitness trainer. Gradually my agenda started to fill up to the point were I worked twelve hours a day, seven days a week. Sometimes I went to the client’s house for the training sessions other times the clients came to the gym. Either way I always enjoyed being a fitness trainer and doing my job. These days I am completely booked for months in advance and I don’t have any problems paying my bills.


Natural health in societies |

Many elements contribute to our ability to maintain and enjoy natural health. Genetics, food nutrition, and exercise are the key factors, which affect our natural health. Even though we cannot change our genetics, we have complete control over our life style and we should responsibly use this control to better our health and our general well being.

We control our food nutrition because we decide what to eat, when to eat it, and it which quantity. Many times we fall victims of out taste buds as we choose to ingest fried, processed foods because we like their taste more than the taste of fresh vegetables. We would rather eat a brownie sundae for dessert than an apple, and we would rather drink coca cola over water. Our natural health is greatly affected by these decisions.

We have also fallen victims to technological advances in transportation, choosing to ride the subway instead of walking of ridding a bicycle and to take the elevator instead of climbing up the stairs. Our natural health suffers because we don’t perform regular physical activities to strengthen our muscles and oxygenate our lungs.

Change is necessary and urgent if we want to maintain healthy societies. A change our life style isn’t hard to achieve, we just need to start making responsible, educated choices and following them with discipline and courage. Natural health is a privilege which is we must earn.
